Things don’t seem to be getting done as efficiently as they used to, and stress levels are at an all-time high. Even with the growing number of resources and tools that allow us to create whatever we want, hurdles still seem a bit higher and obstacles a little more complex.
It’s Time to Get Over It
The following list of exercises is from the book, ALL WINS NO LOSSES by TD Ali. Never forget that productive habits breed confidence, and confidence is what motivates winners to succeed.
Positive Self-Talk
Our subconscious voice is what we hear the most. So, every day, make it a point to consciously practice positive self-talk only, no negative self-talk. Be your best friend.
Clear Goals
I know it’s easier said than done, but you must be clear about what you want in order to fully understand what’s needed to get it. Whether it’s three goals or one, make sure your goals are clear and the steps you need to take are manageable.
Set Boundaries
Create personal, creative, and emotional boundaries that help you stay positive and progressive. The important thing about setting boundaries is that you remain firm — with yourself and with others.
Speak With a Therapist
Talking to a therapist can be extremely helpful for some people who are struggling with their mental health. In fact, it may help you in ways that other methods simply couldn’t. If you find yourself feeling overwhelmed by difficult life events or thoughts related to depression, anxiety, trauma (like PTSD), or addiction – talking to a friend or (even better) a professional just might be the thing needed to start healing.
Speak with a licensed therapist at RRtherapy.org
I KNOW, only 4 things! But take them seriously, give them an honest try, and you’re sure to see results. If you’re looking for even more direction, I added three more steps in a free downloadable guide.
